What is e-signature approval, and how do I get it?

To electronically sign forms in DEQ's ePortal system, you will need "e-signature" approval to be granted to your account. This is necessary for your online submission to have the same force as if you signed a paper copy of the submission.

Electronic Signature Agreements for ePortal are no longer being accepted. Existing users with electronic signature approval may continue to use their electronic signature. For those users who need to sign a form but do not have electronic signature approval, please use the hardcopy signature option available in the Signing section of the ePortal form.

APPLICATION FORMS AND INSTRUCTIONS

(Do not submit confidential information through ePortal, refer to FAQs for details)

Application forms and instructions can be found under the Forms section of this page below. To access forms, select (click on) the desired application/form. Then:

To complete an application on-line, select the Begin Form Entry option at the bottom of the form.
To fill out and mail in a paper copy of an application, select the Download Mail-in Form option at the bottom of the form.

Note:

All Registration, Minor and Major (Title V) application forms are consolidated into one form. Follow the directions in the forms and instructions for specific elements that need to be completed.
General Permits need to complete the Notice of Intent (NOI) form in SEEK (https://seek.ee.arkansas.gov). You are advised to read the actual General Permit first to determine applicability and if your facility can comply with all the conditions of the permit.
Air Application for Name Changes and Transfer of Ownership of permits or registrations should complete the form of the same name.
Motor Vehicle Racing Facility initial permit applicants must contact DEQ for instructions and guidance. For current permit holders, the annual renewal application is available below.
For all other air permit requests or determinations (anything that does not require an actual permit or permit modification) use the Air Miscellaneous Requests form.

To submit many applications, registrations, and other forms you must have e-signature approval. To obtain this approval, you must download the DEQ electronic signature agreement (see additional links below) and mail it to DEQ. Additional information can be found in our FAQ on e-signature approval.

Other Types of Air Permits:

Asbestos Permits: Refer to the Asbestos webpage for issues regarding demolition or renovation of facilities that may contain asbestos or other asbestos related issues.
Opening Burning Permits: Open burning is prohibited except for the exemptions on open burning in Chapter 6 of Regulation 18. For an open burning permit, contact the Office of Air Quality at 501-682-0744
